Our congregation is part of The Evangelical Covenant Church. This denomination, headquartered in Chicago, was founded in 1885 and has grown to include over 600 churches with 100 missionaries who serve around the world.

Our local congregation has met in the Fairfield area since 1977. For a number of years we met in a variety of temporary facilities. Our endeavor to build our own facilities is a story of overcoming many obstacles and persevering in faith. In 1996 we were able to move into our facilities at 2860 Mack Road - north of Interstate 275 and just west of the intersection of Mack and Gilmore Roads. These facilities have encouraged a variety of ministries that are resulting in significant growth.

Our membership is made up of people from varying backgrounds who feel at home in our congregation. We are committed to personal relationships with Christ and with each other, and our goal is to help each person within our church family find opportunities for meaningful service.

The mission of Covenant Community Church is...

  • To bring people to know Christ and join HIS family.
  • To spur them to grow in Christ toward maturity.
  • To equip them to go with Christ in ministry in the church and in the world, creating a loving and accepting community to the Glory of God.

Our Identity:

We are a people who desire to be involved in relationships...

  • with GOD.
  • with OUR CHURCH FAMILY.
  • with OUR COMMUNITY.
  • with THE WORLD.
